FEELING GREAT!
Yesterday marked the 16th week for me! I had an appointment--a routine check-up. But of course it is always nice to hear the heartbeat and know that things still seem to be okay. My mom came with me to the appointment. She was a little emotional when she heard the heartbeat because her baby is now having a baby---it made it pretty real for her! :) We are only 3 weeks away from our ultrasound. I can hardly wait! Hopefully the baby will be cooperating that day so we can go home knowing if a son or daughter is on the way! Exciting!
I am feeling pretty good now! Not sick at all, and I feel like I am able to stay awake a little longer at night (instead of falling asleep on the couch at 8:00 PM). I am feeling my abdominal muscles stretching a lot more--getting ready to accommodate more baby. I am looking forward to feeling it move in there! Maybe in a couple of weeks... The baby is about 4 1/2 inches long and about 3 1/2 oz.---about the size of an avacado. It will have a big growth spurt in the next few weeks---doubling its weight!

That was so sweet to have your mom with you. Made me teary, missing my mom. So glad you are feeling well and the baby is doing fine. Can't wait to find out the gender...
Abbie-What fun! Our oldest just delivered a beautiful baby boy and our youngest is just a few weeks ahead of you at 20 weeks! It is a most exciting time and I'm thrilled for you!

Hey Abbie - glad to hear everything is going well! Hopefully your baby will not be as stubborn as Madison was and let you know his/her gender! She wouldn't move for 15 minutes and the doctor said he never saw such a stubborn thing!! We knew we were in trouble!! Missy Way
