This picture is a little tardy--taken after church on Father's Day. You'd think I would have a little more time to update the blog now that school is out! We've been busy! Had a nice weekend with our dads. Sunday morning Daniel and I made breakfast for Matt and we were able to spend some time together in the afternoon. Daniel is keeping us on our toes. He is walking everywhere and does not want to hold our hands...ever. SO, this means that we need to follow him around the house and up and down the driveway 100 times everyday. :) ...and the bruises keep coming! He doesn't always watch where he is going, so we've had a number of bumps along the way. He just healed from a carpet burn on his chin, and today he got another biggie on his forehead. Poor guy.
Daniel has been fascinated by fans lately. He loves any kind of fan, but especially ceiling fans. If he sees one he immediately asks for it to be turned "ah" (on). It is difficult to take him to Lowe's because when he sees all of the models on the ceiling he doesn't understand why they won't be turned on. Last week Daniel and I went out for lunch with friends and the restaurant had 3 of the 4 fans turned on. When Daniel asked about 20 times for the fan to be turned on, I went to the hostess with my funny request to turn the fan on. When she told me that it was not working, I knew that Daniel would be pretty upset. Yep, he couldn't think of anything other than the broken fan. Silly boy.

I love how Daniel is pointing in this picture..it kind of reminds me of a pose he might strike after he hits a home run! Love it!
ps..I hope you come to Mars Hill again..and this time sit by us!
Sometimes we go to Lowe's just to look at the ceiling fans! Outback has quite a few too. (Things we would have never noticed before we were mommies...)
