Florida, Easter, & Babies

Florida 2009

We've been home from Florida for a week now. It took the entire week to unpack and get back into the swing of things. William's naps are a little "off" yet. We're hoping that he get's that figured out sometime soon!

Florida was great. The travel was a bit different this year. The guys and the 2-year olds drove this year. Gracie and Daniel did a great job in the car! They slept great, and it sounds like the DVD player didn't even have to get used very much!

The girls and the babies flew. William slept for me most of the time on the airplane...good boy. We were able to avoid the lines and any waiting around in the airport---everything went very smoothly!

Vacations for us are not like they were "pre-babies." There was not a whole lot of relaxation for either of us, but that's quite okay---we were happy to be able to get the boys into the pool and Daniel LOVED the sand this year! All of the warm, fresh, tropical air was just what we all needed!

Easter 2009

Since we had just gotten home from Florida, we didn't make it to Holland to celebrate Easter with the fam, but we had a nice day with our immediate family at home. We went to church in the morning, came home for lunch and naps, hung out/unpacked, and ate a ham and potatoes dinner together at night!

Today we filled up our house with good food, baby gifts, and fabulous women--girls from Hope, our moms, Lisa's aunts, and sister.... Lisa and Dan are expecting twins (a girl and boy)! Congrats you guys! What a fun day! And gorgeous weather!
