18 months!

I took Daniel to his 18 month appointment today. It was a little early because I hope to have a baby by his actual 18 month b-day on the 30th! Here's how he is doing and what he's up to--

• Height: 32 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
• Weight: 22 lbs. 12 oz. (10th percentile)(we really do feed him!)
  
• Sleep: about 11 1/2 hours a night, one nap a day (we're working on this transition, so the naps have been a little shorter than they should be---we're hoping for some nice, long naps soon!)
• Eating: loves most foods--he has been eating great for a couple of weeks, then he is picky for a week--a little off and on. His favorite food right now is spaghetti. The other night he at an adult size portion, along with bread and 3 kiwis! Nice!
  
• Favorite toys: cars, trucks, balls, books
• LOVES: being outside, wagon rides, getting visits from his grandparents, going to the park to swing and run around, reading, wrestling with daddy, helping mommy clean! (seriously), playing with his friends and his cousin Gracie
• He is silly, energetic, playful, thoughtful, and so dang cute at this age!
• He is going to daycare in the mornings when I am at work--it was a little rough to begin with, but after about 2 weeks, he realized it was fun! He loves it. We call it "school." It is like a scaled down preschool. They do art projects, sing and play instruments, play outside, have circle time, etc. He actually did not want to come home with me the last two days! He loves it!
  
• We are having a blast with Daniel right now. I think he will be a great big bro very soon!
