where did the time go? our little daniel turned 2 today! unfortunately he was sick for his big day. he has had a fever for the last few days. took him to the doctor on saturday. no ear infections. no strep throat. seems like a nasty virus. we had to cancel his party we were going to have today with a few friends. we distracted him with a couple of gifts. matt got him golf clubs...real ones...left-handed. :) i picked out the starter set for Thomas the Train. he was pretty happy playing with those today. he didn't have a big appetite for any food that we offered, but his fav, strawberry shortcake sounded good for dinner! spoiled kid. :)
what's daniel up to these days? talking, talking, talking. it has been so nice to have him communicating so well with us! he is speaking in full sentences. sings his abc's and other songs. he remembers and can recite back to us his favorite books! we are amazed at his memory! he loves to watch and/or play any sport---especially basketball, golf, & baseball. likes to tackle daddy. wants to "help" daddy or at least watch him with any home improvement projects. his favorite food is still spaghetti. likes avacado, fruit, goldfish crackers, yo-yo (yogurt). he loves animals, but gets a little cautious/frightened if they are in person. hates carwashes---"too loud." enjoyes being outside whenever he has a chance---always asks to go to the park. he goes up and down the big slide by himself. he definitely has his two year old moments and wants to do everything his way, but he has been such a sweetheart and so much fun lately too. he loves his little brother and enjoys showing him his world. :)
