william: 6 months

we didn't want william to feel left out on the birthday celebrations, so i made him a 1/2 birthday cake today! he turned 6 months on the 24th.

what is he up to? loves to giggle and smile. full of drool, and spits up a lot. he's been eating rice cereal for a month and a half now. hates peas and green beans. loves pears and bananas. go figure. we're trying sweet potatos now--not too sure about those yet. he started rolling from front to back a couple of months ago---can't quite make it from his back to his tummy. he's close though!  he is doing a good job sitting up by himself.  sometimes he forgets what he's doing though and falls over.   we still have to keep a close eye on him.  william is sleeping well---to bed around 7:00, up to eat around 5:30 and back to sleep for about an hour or more. there is room for improvement in his naps. although today was great! he slept an hour and a half in the morning, the same amount early this afternoon and a 45 min nap on our walk! he likes hanging out in the jumperoo and his exersaucer. hope i don't let him stay in there too long! he really does enjoy it! he LOVES his big brother and thinks he's pretty hilarious. william is growing up fast! he is pretty much done with his 9 month clothing (some still fits), and is wearing mostly 12 month stuff! i have a feeling that he and daniel will be sharing their clothes before we know it! william is such a sweetheart!
